I supplement with a daily regime of pills. Do you?

All the research I have done suggests that for Hashimoto’s patients it is a good idea to supplement in orderΒ to give extra help to the immune system, sluggish adrenals and a Hashi’s patients’ typically depleted vitamin and mineral sources.

As of July this year I have had to change my supplementation regime to allow for the introduction of my new BAM medication (Cholestagel) which cannot be taken alongside any other medication as it interferes with absorption. So it’s become very complicated! Although I have been able to stop taking Omeprazole and Mebeverine as now no longer have IBS so that’s a positive.

I am a bit rubbish at remembering to take my lunchtime supplements unfortunately as I’m often out and about. To be honest I couldn’t tell you if I notice a difference or not! I certainly do notice a huge positive effect of the BAM meds though so I am very strict with taking them.

In the morning I take:
2x 625mg colesevelam

At lunchtime I take:
Vitamin C 500mg
Magnesium 500mg
Zinc 10mg
Selenium 200mg
Probiotic
B vitamin complex x2
Rhodiola complex

At dinnertime (if I need it) I take:
1xΒ 625mg colesevelam

Lastly at bedtime I take:
T3 Liothyronine 20mg
T4 Levothyroxine 50mg
